Municipal wastewater is the most significant source of pollution discharged into surface waters in the world with most plants in dire need of upgrades to keep up with the growing waste volumes. 

Our demonstrations and studies have proven that the long-lasting high levels of the proprietary molecular dissolved oxygen (MDO) supplied to sewage treatment ponds and facilities outperforms, by far, conventional methods and at less cost and time.

Locations can be kept in compliance without the need for expensive blowers; sludge volumes are significantly reduced by the unprecedented level of waste microbial activity around the clock, and odors are eliminated.

C3S, Inc. (https://c3sinc.com/) is a Houston-based concrete consulting services firm founded by civil engineer and concrete specialist, Dr. S. Ebow Coleman, Ph.D., P.E.. Since 1991, C3S, Inc. has provided clients around the world with expert, in-depth consulting services and evaluations using advanced analytical methods to provide solutions to problems with concrete and related materials. 

Innovative Industries, approached C3S, Inc. (C3S) to research and test an idea and a process developed by the company. The process claimed to increase the compressive strength of concrete. The process involves a two-step process of oxygenating and modifying the surface tension of the mix water.

Over an 8-month period C3S performed several studies involving laboratory mixes and testing samples for compressive strength from 2 days to 90 days.

The evaluation also involved an in depth analysis of the hardened concrete samples to better understand the mechanism for the increased strength of the concrete.

 

Two analytical methods used were petrographic analysis and scanning electron microscopy, SEM. The latter method showed an increase in the hydration products of calcium silicate and calcium aluminate hydrates which are the strength enhancing components of concrete.

 The process involves changing the surface tension and oxygenating the water used for the mix. The change in the surface tension and the oxygenated water produced notable increase in compressive strength ranging from 15% to 20% for a 5-sack concrete formulation at 28 days compared to a control concrete mix. An increase of about 15% and 10% in compressive strength was noted for 4.5-sack and 4-sack concrete formulations respectively, both compared to control mixes.

Applications: By utilizing the subject oxygenated water in concrete for construction, the increased compressive strength provides for meeting specifications with the use of less cement. The concrete also reaches compressive strength faster which can accelerate project completion. Both of these components can significantly reduce the project cost.

Oxygenated Water and Agriculture

Hyper oxygenating irrigation water will increase the growth rate in the fields of agriculture. It goes without saying, the more oxygen there is in the irrigation water the bigger the plant will become and in less growth time. Initial small batch experiment results indicate crop yields of 30% and more should be achievable.

Maintaining the desired constant DO levels is critical to the success of aquaculture operation. Due to a whole host of problems, such as weather, mechanical and electrical failures, overfeeding, water quality, etc., Dissolved Oxygen levels can drop significantly and with that goes pond health.

Our integrated water restructuring technologies significantly enhance the growing capabilities of the aquatic life forms found in this industry; with the potential to increase production by providing higher survival rates and better food conversion ratio in a superior aquatic environment.

Customer testimony has proven that drinking SuperOx water or OXYDRATE assists the body’s by using the digestive system to complement the respiratory system in utilization of molecular oxygen.

Using our Surface Tension Reduction and infusion process, it is theorized that we can oxygenate saline IV bags, allowing for an additional source of oxygen in medical and surgical procedures. This application has yet to be tested.

This method is common practice in the production of precious metals including gold, silver, copper, zinc, nickel. As proven in wastewater applications, bacteria require oxygen to thrive.

Oxygenated Water and Carbon Capture

Our Carbon Capture technology is an adaptation of our patented technology and process (6 of our 7 total patents) of Surface Tension Reduction (STR) of water, allowing for infusion of molecular gas into the interstitial spaces created within the aqueous matrix of water. With our process and technology, we have successfully suspended Oxygen [O2 (32 amu)] and Ozone [O3 (48 amu)]. Theorizing that a simple modification to the injection process, Carbon Dioxide [CO2 (44 amu)] will exhibit the same successes of Oxygen and Ozone infusion.

Process Summary: Using common pumps and variable frequency drives, source water is pumped through surface tension reduction devices. First passing through electromagnetic induction to produce voltage potential across the aqueous matrix then through a frequency modulated, charged electric coil to introduce one or more frequencies to the matrix, thereby expanding and energizing the water. This modification of the matrix weakens the Hydrogen Bonding, reducing surface tension and increasing solubility. At this point, the target gas enters the infusion chamber where the carbon dioxide enters the aqueous matrix at the molecular level. The molecular compound remains suspended with the matrix and does not ‘bubble out’ as a gas traditionally would.

This carbon enhanced water is re-introduced to the ocean and consumed and converted by phytoplankton, macroalgae or dissolving to carbonic acid used by marine organisms and ultimately ending up as calcium carbonate – key component for reef building.

In a parallel process, source water will be simultaneously processed in the same manner but infusing one of the bi-products of the carbon-capture process – Oxygen. The SuperOx water is also reintroduced to the source, balancing and augmenting aerobic oceanic life and addressing the deoxygenation of global oceans.

The process flow diagram below reflects the parallel process of both the CO2 Infusion into Surface Tension Reduced source water as well as O2 infusion into Surface Tension Reduced source water; bolstering natures Aquatic Carbon Cycle and Aquatic Oxygen Cycle.
